It´s the first of the known roads that lead to the tomb of the apostle Santiago. Alfonso II was the first known pilgrim who walked the Camino in his eagerness to visit and pay his respects to the Saint. This route starts at the Cathedral of Oviedo and ends at the Cathedral of Santiago. It´s a road that involves some hardness, due to the morphology of the environment to some considerable climbs, but to balance this we´ll be presented with spectacular views and landscapes, crossing two of the most impressive Autonomous Communities of the Spanish territory, such as Galicia and Asturias, we will travel through its valleys, mountains, its cultural and natural wealth.
